Ilya is a Russian-born, British-educated commercials, music video and features director as well as the frontman of the punk band Biting Elbows. His films, including Bad Motherfucker, Kolshik and False Alarm, for US megastar The Weeknd, have won several major awards such as Cannes Lions, One Show, UK MVAs, Kinsale Sharks, D&ADs and Ciclope among many others. His features include Hardcore Henry, winner of the Midnight Madness award at the Toronto International Film Festival, and the smash-hit action comedy Nobody.
